Volunteer Association (AVA) is a public service
organization dedicated to the preservation and care of
the Angeles National Forest.

Fisheries Resource
Volunteer Corps (FRVC) - The FRVC was
established in 1994 as an arm of the Federation of Fly
Fishers to work with the U.S. Forest Service. Working
with the Forest Service, FRVC members in Forest Service
uniform, patrol streams of the Angeles, San Bernardino
and Los Padres National Forests.

constructing and maintaining hiking trails in the San

of volunteers who work to preserve the remnants of the
Mount Lowe Railway, including structures, in the San

Center - Volunteers staff the Grassy Hollow
Visitor Center, near Wrightwood, and supply information,
directions and education to the public, pictorial
displays and video presentations of forest lore, as well
as an extensive display of preserved local animals, birds
and reptiles.
